I searched the forums and didn’t see this posted so hopefully it helps some of you out. Turned on my Xbox One S tonight and on the Home screen there is a box that says "New Year’s Resolution: HAVE MORE FUN – Save 40% on Gold" get it for as low as $2.99 per month! Steps are below
NOTE: YOU MUST LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT TO SEE PRICE CHANGE
- Click on Home screen Ad
- On the following screen select "Go Gold Now"
- Change drop down menu from 1 month to 12 month and the price should be $35.99!!
- It appears that this also is valid through the Microsoft website if you are logged in and are the primary account (this price did not appear under someone who is in my "Microsoft Family", only appeared under my Primary account)
This appears to be targeted so YMMV. I did not have an active subscription the past few weeks since mine ended in December so I am not sure if that factored into this price showing up, but hopefully it works for many more of you!
