I was frantically looking for a low cost alternative to FreedomPop, since I got burned by their service awhile back. I scoured the web for Sprint MVNOs, and came across charge / charge.co. From what I read they have pretty good support, and I like all their website and twitter feed. I don’t really need phone service, since I’m usually using google voice these days. Also I don’t use an extreme amount of data.
Then I’ve decided to give it a shot. So far so good! Super easy to activate my old R+ device. I’m in for 16$, 1 Gig + 3$ a month. The data does not expire! Also I had found a code for an extra free gig. Then I’m at 2Gig for 13+3$ a month, and data does not expire! Either way this is much cheaper for data then I see from the other R+ alternatives.
