I found a message that someone listed on a Facebook group called ‘Members of ATK, Cook’s Illustrated, Cook’s Country, and Cook’s Science’ which indicated that All-Clad is discontinuing their Master Chef 2 (MC2) line. The post mentioned that Amazon has marked down some of the MC2 sets, and sure enough, I found this 10 piece bi-poly stainless set for sale on Amazon for $238.15:

Checking Camel Camel Camel, it looks like this is the best price we’ve seen for this set, which has been as high as $939 and is usually listed on Amazon for between $500 and $600.
I personally own a lot of All-Clad pieces, but just one from the MC2 line. I like it a lot – I should point out that it won’t work with induction and is not supposed to be put in the dishwasher. I believe that my MC2 pan (an 8" skillet) is tri-poly, not bi-poly, so I can’t speak to the quality of this specific set, but I’ve always had good luck with all of the American-made pieces I’ve gotten from the company.
