JC Penney – Stafford Shirts Regularly $36 to $60 – Now $11 to $18 Each or Less with Stacking Discounts

This is a follow up to the recent expired front page deal on Stafford shirts at JC Penney -
I missed that deal, but had a few shirts in my cart, so I checked to see if any new coupon codes would apply. There is a new code 26SHOP that takes 40% off certain regular priced items. I didn’t think that this code would apply to Stafford shirts, but it did. At the same time, there is a promotion where if you buy one Stafford shirt for regular price, you get the second shirt for a penny. I bought some $40 shirts (other shirts are listed for between $36 and $60 in the second shirt for a penny promotion), so I got two shirts for $40.01, minus 40% ($16), making the total $24.01 for two shirts or $12 per shirt. It seems you can buy odd numbers of shirts and still get the discount for all the shirts (I got three shirts for $12 each that originally list for $40 each). After I made the purchase, I was able to get the two promotions to stack on a single shirt, but I didn’t go through with the purchase, so YMMV on that. The advantage to this deal is that you have access to a significant discount on a variety of better quality shirts compared with the previous deal on Stafford shirts.

Edit: If you put two identical shirts in your cart (same size and color), the coupon 24SHOP will not apply to that item. You have to buy different shirts, or at least different colors and sizes in the same shirt to apply the coupon in combination with the second shirt for a penny promotion.
