Best Buy is promising savings of "up to $100" if you choose to buy the Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus from the retailer instead of a carrier or some other store. Preorders open at 12:01AM ET on March 30th, and you’ll also be able to reserve a phone when your local Best Buy opens on Thursday morning. A Best Buy spokesperson confirmed that the savings can be layered on top of carrier-specific deals being offered from Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint.
