I’ve had the X12 since November and I’ve been extremely happy with it! Having a powerful sub really added another level of awesome to my home theater setup. It’s paired with four of the Pioneer SP-FS52 towers and matching center. My wife was skeptical about the cost until we watched a movie .
I have it setup in the Max Extension mode with one port plugged. The low end punch is incredible. Movies shake your insides, powerful rifles in games like battlefield punch you in the chest, and various genres of music really sound great. Even in calmer moments it added a level depth to everything that I didn’t realize was missing with the old sub.
For what it’s worth I can speak highly of their customer service as well. My unit had a glitch with the auto on/off functionality and they were very responsive and got it sorted out quickly with little effort on my part.

I read good things about this one when I was looking at subs, but I’ve never listened to it myself. If it’s anything like the X12 I’m sure it’s fantastic for the money. Two of them can be had for an additional $50 off making the total $449.
