Minimum clearance with with lifting cup installed is 6". Clearance of platform with lifting cup removed is 5.5"
Not sure I like the safety bar system. Locking bar slots through holes in arm but only rests on edges of frame rails. All weight is held on these 2 pressure points, unlike locking pin stands that distribute weight around bottom circumference of locking pin.
