Was at Target and saw they had a Targus USB C charger on clearance 50% off from $34 to $17.48. This is a nice charger for modern USB C devices like the 2015/2016 12" MacBook or Google Pixel phones (the box says it’s compatible with both).
NOTE: This is only 45 watts so it WILL NOT charge a full size MacBook Pro at full speed (those require 60+ watt chargers). USB C is kind of a hot mess with different charging specs, rates, etc. so know what you’re getting into and need before you buy. It may or may not charge your phone at full speed even if your phone requires less than 45 watts power–the USB C PD spec allows many different voltages and amperages. I plugged this one into my 2016 MacBook and it reports charging at full speed 37 watts, just like the Apple charger. I have no idea if this will charge an iPad Pro at full speed unfortunately.
