Icelandair via Expedia has round trip airfares travelling from Minneapolis (MSP) to Zurich Switzerland for $515 including taxes and fees. This makes a stop in Reykjavik Iceland (KEF). Icelandair allows a stopover in Iceland for up to 7 days so this makes two-trips-one deal and pretty fantastic too.
**note: although Icelandair is a low-cost carrier, this airline will allow free seating assignment and one checked bag. See site for information on size and weight.
Departs MSP: Oct 6, 11, 18
Returns MSP: Oct 13, 15-16, 20-23, 27-28
Use above dates and book it on Expedia , it’s a buck cheaper than Orbitz. If you are choosing to stay in Iceland longer than the regular stopover, use the multi-destination search function and search for each leg. Play around with dates that are within the time frame I posted above.
