I was looking for something cheap to put me over $35 so I could get free one day shipping on Amazon, and I discovered this little gem.
According to Keepa (Amazon price tracker), the price dropped from $7 to $3 on May 8th, making the cost per unit the same as if you were to buy a three pack.
This is currently the cheapest, most useful Prime item I could find. This is especially true considering more and more devices are adopting USB-C. It also at least used to be (a couple days ago) a Prime One Day item as well. This makes as a great filler item if you’re buying "add-on items" such as the recent Haribo Cola Gummies deal and just need to push yourself over $25. Or if it still shows up as Prime One Day for others, you could use it with other Prime One Day items to get free one day shipping.
I personally used this to buy a Redragon Kumara mechanical keyboard (Prime One Day), which was just enough to push me over $35. Perhaps others can use this to do something similar!
Adapter is close to Anker in terms of quality, though that’s just my opinion.
