VW e-Golf $145/mo, no money down, 3 yr lease (Oregon, YMMV)

First post in a while, but thought I’d pass this on. I’m in Oregon. So this is a YMMV scenario
Based on this ad:
http://www.vwofsalem.com/vw-egolf.htm
I just leased (with an option to buy) a new 2016 VW e-Golf
List was $32,000
-$7500 eco car rebate (fed tax credit)
-$7500 dealer cap cost reduction
+$695 extra lease wear and tear protection (turn in bald tires)
$500 registration fees
Total sale: $16000
At the end of the lease I can buy it for $10k. Or turn it in (it’s the iPhone 3G of e-cars, so will probably do that). It’s peppy, and drives about as good as a GTI with tons of techno gewgaws standard). Quiet, too. Entry (SE) model but it’s pretty loaded. Except no cruise control. WTF with that but I’ll live…
My 2003 TDI was getting old. This was a crazy deal, as I drive maybe 40 miles a day tops.
The 17′s are much better (50% more range) but for a 2nd car this is awesome. The 17′s won’t have $7000 wrapped around them either! Bolts are awesome but $30k. Youch!
Enjoy!
