I use Marriott hotels mostly for business travel and has worked well for me. The free anniversary stay and the points sign up keeps you ahead if you are that 1-2 time/yr vacationer. I normally have enough points combined with the cert to get 2 stays annually that I use to transition awaiting flights/cruise ship connections.
Anyway…saw this in on a flyer in my room yesterday and found it online:
80K points after spending $3K in 3 months, and 7.5K points when you add another person in the same window. There is an $85 annual fee, but again most stays for me are at least $100ish. Another thing to consider is the SPG link and point transfer as well….
