It generally seems to be recommended to paint the outer surfaces with some high heat paint to keep it from rusting too soon, so I ordered this as well:

The bad reviews for the cover are mostly because some of the sizes wouldn’t fit over people’s pits when the pit and cover were of the exact same size.
Amazon lists the pit with

so I’m hoping it will fit, but I won’t know until I receive it.
