This deal pops up every once in a while. I just purchased one and made an offer for $25 and within an hour or two they countered with $28 with free shipping. I ordered on Sunday and will get it tomorrow.
There are two modes for this – the default mode (I don’t use this) and a Novation launchpad mode (it gets detected as one in Fruity Loops).

Originally I paid $30 for the first one and I’ve enjoyed using it. There are some programs you can use to assign the buttons that make it useful for other projects.
