Based on reviews and feedback from the previous thread, some people have gotten almost new phones while others were not so lucky so ymmv…but luckily returns should be easy. This phone is locked to Straight Talk and Tracfone services so I guess there are few things you can do with it.
1. Use it as an iPod. Device is still pretty quick and very portable.
2. Use it as intended on Straight Talk/Tracfone (works great for Safelink Wireless too using Tracfone BYOP AT&T Sim)
3. Use it for trade in. Samsung S8/S8+ sales involving trade ins are pretty unpopular right now due to their earlier fiasco but it seems they’re resolving it now so trade ins should be easier than the past.
4. Use it for parts. If you get one in good condition, you can use it to fix up other 5S and even iPhone SE’s that are damaged.
