The Gulf Coast has been hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. Join us in supporting recovery by donating to the American Red Cross or the Operation BBQ Relief, two organizations which are providing food, clothing, and shelter to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Additionally, YETI is donating 100% of sales from YETI.com and our Flagship store on September 1st directly to relief funds for the Gulf Coast region. Q: How can I make sure my order is eligible for the Hurricane Harvey donation program?
A: Only orders submitted on YETI.com or at the YETI Flagship on Friday, September 1st, are eligible to participate in the donation program. Donation applies on orders from 12:01 am Friday morning to 11:59 pm Friday night placed on YETI.com or purchases made during business hours at our Flagship store in Austin. No orders submitted over the phone will be considered for donation.
Q: Why are you collecting sales tax?
A: We are not a 501(c)(3) organization and must collect sales tax on all business transactions.
Q: Are YETI Custom Shop orders included in the donation program?
A: No, anything purchased from YETI Custom Shop is not applicable for the Hurricane Harvey donation program.
Q: Is my purchase tax deductible?
A: YETI cannot give tax advice. We would encourage you to visit with a tax advisor.
Q: I live outside the US; will my purchase still go towards a donation?
A: Yes, any purchase made on yeti.com or through the YETI Flagship will be donated.
Q: Is there any limit on the amount YETI will donate?
A: We hope our donation can contribute meaningfully to the challenges being faced by those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We will take pride in the number of YETI enthusiasts that join us by purchasing YETI products on September 1 to contribute to this worthy cause. We want to do more than our share, and we hope to reach our maximum donation of $2.5 million. Our core values speak to acting with a sense of urgency and going the extra mile. Q: Is there a limit to my order quantity?
A: Our inventory is limited on certain styles. In order to allow the most number of people to participate today, we have limited the quantity that can be purchased by an individual on those styles.
Q: I purchased product last week – can I get my purchase counted towards this?
A: Unfortunately not. We cannot go back and retroactively apply past purchases towards this donation, but we invite you to find another YETI item to purchase this Friday.
