Short backstory — a few weeks ago I posted a SD on a previous-gen Makita 2-drill, 2-battery, charger kit for $85. Brickseek and the Home Depot website would NOT list any inventory but the community found many on shelves (sometimes on top shelves) and the discount was successful.
Fast forward to today, I didn’t take advantage of the deal I had found but was actively looking for it once again, well I just found a later-gen version for $125. I think Makita is pushing an all-new generation of drill sets so they want HD to liquidate the rest. The HD website and Brickseek website said this was not available in stores but I have photo proof. This time I bought it $125. Brushless set. Works like a dream. Obviously YMMV and you have to go to the store to look. There was only this 1 left in my store. It was next to single-tool versions also selling for a discount at $109. Still a great deal.
