Just came back from Fry’s Electronics and they had plenty of LG 2017 OLED TV’s on sale starting from $1199. The listed advertisement for the 2016 model is incorrect and they are indeed selling the 2017 models for the advertised price today only!
This is the lowest price I’ve seen it anywhere.

I ended going with the door buster LG 75" 75SJ8570 for $1599 since size mattered more than quality for me but definitely check it!
