Target has the Vizio M55-E0 on sale for $629.99 this week. Combined with the 15% Cyber Monday discount, this great TV can be had for $535.49 before tax or $508.72 before tax if you have a Target RedCard.
The M55 is Vizio’s mid-tier budget TV that has both HDR10 and Dolby Vision (the E series has only HDR10). This year’s version has less local dimming zones (32) than last year’s model, but it has a wider color gamut and is noticeably brighter than last year’s model. It has received glowing reviews by CNET and Rtings.com . It compares well with TCL’s P series TV.
Of note, this television does not have an onboard digital tuner, so you won’t be able to watch over-the-air broadcasts. Target also changes a $20 handling fee for shipping the TV, but that can be avoided if you buy and choose instore pickup.
Unfortunately, Target carries only the 55" version of this TV. So you’re out of luck if you want a smaller or larger display. However, if you are in the market for a 55" TV, this is probably the best bang for your buck TV, especially at this price.
