Lowe’s Military Discount requires MyLowes starting Jan 1 2018

Having forgotten my MyLowes card this last xmas lights clearance run, the cashier let me know that the military discount policy will REQUIRE a MyLowes account/card at checkout starting Jan 1, 2018
For any active duty, retired, or veteran, Lowe’s has been allowing online enrollment for their 10% off military discount for a while–see: https://www.militarytimes.com/2017/05/04/lowe-s-expands-changes-its-military-discount-program/?
As the MT article points out, Lowe’s has been phasing out the ‘present your ID at checkout’ option, we’ve just now hit the deadline to do it.
Go sign up if you’re eligible–it’s an easy online verification process. Guard members are eligible through the online check if you’ve been activated/deployed, just use your active duty date range rather than enlistment.
