This motherboard can also handle Ryzen 7 1800X (3.6GHz,8C,L3:16M,95W) or down to the lowest Ryzen 3 1200(3.1GHz,65W,L3:8M,4C,rev:B1).
If you want a modern Motherboard that can install a legacy OS onto this might fit that bill.
Those needing legacy PCI slots will find this Motherboard handy for installing such Operating Systems from DOS, 98SE, XP, and Vista. I tested another similar Asus MB and indeed these legacy PCI slots truly work.
For all others Windows 7, Windows 8.0/8.1, Windows 10, and Linux should work just fine.
The built in VGA, HDMI, and DVI video connectors will only work with an AMD CPU that has integrated graphics.

Look for the A6, A8, A10, and A12 Prefix if you want to use the integrated graphics video connectors on the rear. Otherwise you will need to use a separate discrete graphics card for video output.
