I know many of us here have participated in the deals for Belkin Wemo outlets here on SD-which are vulnerable to KRACK
Noticed today that my Wemo was upgrading the firmware to patch for the KRACK vulnerability. Upon further research, it appears there was a DNS masq patch too.
Patch is for Core products (Switch, Sensor, Insight, Light Switch, LED-Link, Mini and Dimmer ) firmware version: 2.00.11054

As stated in the title, mods can move to another forum after some exposure in Hot deals since many of us don’t frequent the other forums as much and this is an important patch IMHO.
TU or TD as you wish as I know some hate PSA posts in Hot Deals but hopefully it helps a few from hacks, security or phantom issues due to KRACK or DNS masq flaw. I’ll leave it to the mods to decide how long it should stay in HD.
P.S. There are some reports of issues with remote access or Alexa access after update, but I didn’t experience any such issue on 3 of my Wemo outlets. I waited 30 mins and tested them all before posting this. YMMV
