2018 Chevrolet Volt $2500 Cash Allowance $7500 Federal Tax Credit = $24,095

GM currently has a $2500 cash allowance on top of any dealer discounts on the 2018 Chevrolet Volt until 4/2/2018. For those who don’t know, the 2nd Gen Volt has a pure electric range rated at 53 miles. For comparison, the electric range of the 2018 Toyota Prius Prime Plug-in is rated at 25 miles. Note, the Volt also qualifies for max Federal Tax Credit at $7500 while the Prime Plug-in qualifies at the lower $4500 credit.
