Hello, I hope you are doing well.
Introduction
This is a heads-up thread, as this will soon be available to everyone, but it’s currently only available to people who have received an email from Google. (You can sign up to receive updates here .)
Summary

  • Unchanged: 100GB for $1.99/month, $19.99/year
  • New: 200GB for $2.99/month, $29.99/year
  • Removed: 1TB for $9.99/month, $99.99/year
  • New: 2TB for $9.99/month, $99.99/year

More Information
Google is revamping its consumer storage plans by adding a new $2.99/month tier for 200 GB of storage and dropping the price of its 2 TB plan from $19.99/month to $9.99/month (and removing the $9.99/month 1 TB plan altogether). It’s also rebranding these storage plans as "Google One." The name "Google Drive" will refer to the non-paid version of Google One. Google One will give free one-tap access to Google Experts for help with any Google consumer product and service ( more information here ).
Author’s Note
I am super excited about this because I am using 101GB out of 105GB, and I’ve been using for the 100GB plan. there are literally thousands of post and online communities from people requesting that Google have a tear between 100GB and 1TB, so introducing a 200GB tier is wonderful.
