Just got an email from DirecTV about the new app for DIRECTV NOW soon being available for Amazon devices and, unfortunately, it is not compatible with your 1st Generation Amazon Fire TV device. I’m using the 1st gen Fire Stick; they’re offering $25 credit for the next 3 months so I can use that money towards a new Amazon Fire TV. I tried applying the unique promo code on my account but got the following error:
