OP notes:
I use Chromebooks a lot as well as full feature laptops such as Dell’s Precision line. However, there are often times when I want something in between, something with the full feature set of a PC but the mobility of a Chromebook. Most of the lightweight PCs that I see are of poor quality due to the non expandible MMC storage, poor display, or excessive thickness.
This seems to be the perfect balance for me for field work where I need to show things to people while standing up, for doing real PC stuff, presentations, and with an IPS display for video.
The weakness in this is of course the circa- Q4 2016 CPU, which rates in a little lower than the first generation i3-330m (IIRC 1200 vs 1800 passmark). However, it is imho a negligible price to pay considering the purpose of this tool.
