Was shopping for a new TV for the World Cup…55" doesn’t cut it…no space for 75".
Went into BBY yesterday and looked around…most of the high end ones were in the $1500-3500 range.
Got an Amex Offers for 10% off Small Business link up to $1500…went and saw this puppy:

Seemed like a great deal…pretty much $1299.00 at most major stores. Throw in the $250 Dell GC, 10% off Amex Offer, $28 in Dell Rewards, and another $18 in urlhasbeenblocked (2%), and it is effectively around $650 shipped. Yes, it’s the 2017…but paying nearly double for a 2018 which is very similar isn’t worth the freight, IMHO.
This TV seems to get good reviews (CR rates just below OLED units…77 points), and looks nice. One big plus for me is the center stand…the TVs with the legs at the ends are too long for my console, and I don’t feel like wall mounting.
Bought this AM, just got shipping notice, will be here next Thursday…just in time to catch Russia vs. Saudi Arabia!!!
