They are very dependable reels I have many pushing or past ten years old that have seen extreme use and abuse and they hold up like champs. Just a quick rinse at the end of the day and I have never even had to disassemble or grease one. Parts don’t break, no sticky bails they just keep going.
Some credit goes over here where this thread that got me browsing reels . The deal linked here is for the same Avenger series but in the ABF bait feeder model and there are some great prices to be had. Surf size reel for $45 bucks is a great price. Have a look.
