My first Greentoe offer was $2500, there was an automatic counter offer at $2699. My second offer was $2570 which was accepted by a reputable camera shop. YMMV, although $2699 still lower than I’ve seen elsewhere with full USA warranty.
I was going to purchase a A7 III but the A7R III has some advantages including 42MP sensor, better view finder and ability to do APS-C mode at 18MP. This means a 35mm lens can perform like a second lens @ 52mm / 18MP.
A7 III has slightly better low light performance, slightly better focus and a lower price. Personally the $570 savings would only buy one additional lens, I would rather have the higher megapixels.
