Just got an article that describes using one AmEx Membership Rewards point and the coupon code AMEXSWP20PD for a 20% discount at Amazon.
This is a very big YMMV and it didn’t work for me, but apparently it is working for some people, as the article notes. Please don’t TD this post just because it doesn’t work for you.

Some key points:
- This deal may work for people who maxed out the previous 20% off promo and/or may work for those who weren’t targeted for that one.
- You must use at least 1 Membership Reward point as payment with your AmEx card and enter the code AMEXSWP20PD
- For some items, the 20% will be taken off the original price, not the sale price, yielding a bigger discount than 20%
- The item must be shipped and sold by Amazon. Sold by someone else and fulfilled by Amazon will NOT work.
