Got an email from BGE marketplace that for today 10/5 only (efficiency day), they dropped the price of Nest 3rd gen (all colors) to $199, and Nest E to $149. After instant $100 rebate (need to verify your address) applied, prices are $99 for Nest 3rd Gen, $49 for Nest E, which is $50/$20 extra discount compared to their everyday price.

P.S: If you are like me who’s been torn between waiting for other retailers on sale price then do the $100 rebate submission, there is a catch in BGE rebate, which requires your purchase to pay MD sales tax to qualify (so Newegg purchase or ebay transactions with no tax will not work technically)
