You’ve seen some earlier deals on this set which is normally $199.99 retail, but I have yet to see this particular one, as it’s one of the best I’ve run across for this kit. Amazon has it for around $189. (Btw, you can get the 2-pack of this same kit on there for $79 if you don’t want all 4 of these). Consider, though: the color bulbs are normally $50 when not on promo, so if you think you may want more, then this is the time to jump on it.
Here’s how to score this starter kit for super cheap:
1. Target has it for the usual $199
2. Go into the Cartwheel promos (in the main Target app), you’ll find a coupon for %15 off Philips Hue items. Add it to your account/cart/wallet. This gives a $22.50 discount.

3. There is a secondary promo where you get a $50 Target gift card for purchasing this kit (auto added to cart)
4. Tertiary promo is you get a coupon for 20% off a future purchase (auto added).
5. If you have a REDcard, you get the additional 5% to really make this sweet.
6. If you check CB sites, a big one has 2% CB right now.
For me, it came out to be $137 after tax, not considering any extra % CB offers. See screenshot attached.
Note: It appears from the pictures that this is a 2.0 hub (square) and the bulbs look to be at least generation 3+ (green sticker at top right of box that says "better colors" or something to that effect. These are pretty well known indicators of which generation hub/bulb is in the box. If you’re thinking about going with the plain white kits which are super cheap, read up about how a lot of people think those bulbs are too "yellow" – and although they are dimmable, you cannot change color temp on those.
These work with Alexa, Google, HomeKit, IFTTT, Nest, etc. They have plenty of integration with 3rd party products, as well as apps.
