Not thread crapping, but please note that the below can be inconvenient for a few and is not stated in visible areas – unless someone reads through all Q&A!!
1) there is additional $1.8 processing fee from Sinemia for every movie ticket you buy (cardless option).
2) there is additional $1.5 convenience fee for online booking for every ticket. Some may say you can avoid the fee through Facebook, but that is temporary.
3) Additional fee of $14.99 – if you want a physical card similar to MoviePass.
4) Additional fee of $9.99 – if you want your ‘cardless’ account instantly activated. Or else, it will take about 15 days for ‘activation’ of your account – though there is nothing to ship to you physically.
So, if you sign up for 3 movies/month plan for about $9 and if you watched 3 movies a month, your cost is: $9 + 3×1.8 + 3×1.5 = $18.9. Not $9 as advertised. This can be a surprise for good old moviepass users..for about $2 more, one can get A-List which would allow one to watch 3D and IMAX movies as well… not going to comment on 4 times more movies one can watch there.. I don’t watch that many in a month.
