This is a good motherboard for gaming as well as media handling and general use with a combination of features not typically available at this price. Getting cleared out for the newer Z390 boards which are twice the price for not a great difference.
With the latest firmware update it supports 9th generation Intel CPUs as well. With HDMI and DisplayPort (difficult to get at this price point), it can be used for 4k displays at 60hz. Unlocked cores can be overclocked for serious gamers. So, it should be future proof for the next few years at least for most uses.
