Grenadine is one of the colors that has the Third exterior layer that Staub calls majolique. The other four quart cocotte from Staub that we see on sale for 99 bucks do not have the third layer. Meaning the black turquoise and Cherry.
I have never seen the grenadine 4 quart for $99 ever. It’s still hovering around 284 from everybody else.
I am not 100% certain if basil has the third exterior layer. It looks like it in the images.
