The only downside is that the mic is attached to the cable. So if you want to use it as a headset with out the mic you can just but a 1-2 dollar headphone cable off ebay since the cable/mic combo can be unplugged from the headset. My son has had this headset for over a year with no issues. He says it’s as good as the $100 Turtle Beach XO Four Stealth(broken now<6mo) and $70 Hyperx Cloud Core Pro headset he has. Plantronics are good headsets. These are not chinaBay headsets.
