I know this is probably going to get me a lot of thumbs down because quite a few people on here don’t feel Tesla or these options are worth it, but I wanted to let everyone know that Elon Musk has announced that the temporary discounts on autopilot and full self driving are going back to their original prices on Monday.
For those that haven’t purchased EAP and FSD already, the current price is $5k and will likely go back up to $7-8k. If you already purchased EAP, then FSD was $4k after purchase and is currently $2k.
None of the FSD features not included in EAP actually exist yet, so it’s kind of a gamble at this point. Is it worth paying $2k now in the hopes that you’ll get FSD features in the future and not pay $4k? I’m still trying to decide for myself. One thing to keep in mind is if you purchase FSD now, you’ll get the Autopilot 3.0 hardware (new faster processor) for free when it comes out and all the features of FSD.
