Surprised this wasn’t already posted. At Kroger (and probably other stores they own), there is a digital coupon you can download and get 50% off Easter candy and decorations.
The sale was/is from March 21st through March 25th.
Note that it says it’s only off of select candy and merchandise, but I didn’t notice anything it didn’t work on.
Also, I just tested the various singles of Easter candy that they have buy 2, get 1 free on, and it works on those two. So, in other words, the individual Cadbury eggs and the russel stover single eggs are buy 2, get 1 free AND then 50% off of that price.
As usual on the holiday sales, I went overboard yet again, spending $16+ just for myself… I already have tons of Halloween and Christmas candy left, but I buy with good dates only. For instance, some of their Reese’s eggs had July, 2019 on them, but I looked more in the store and found some with January, 2020.
Even at 50% off Easter is one of those holidays where the candy is still mighty expensive per ounce, but I like it a lot.
ps I wonder if they learned their lesson from last year when they had TONS of lindor eggs left, because I saw none in the store. lol.
