The regular price is $39.86. Brickseek shows $9 at many Walmart stores near me. I picked one up this morning. There were a ton at my store in one of the middle aisle displays near the other fishing equipment. The sign on the display shows full price, but I checked the price on one of the scanners before going to the register and it was $9.
The rod is prestrung with 8 lb test.
