You will also need to buy 3/4 pipe that is threaded on at least one end. My personal plan is to buy 10′ pipe from HomeDepot that’s $20 here and cut it in half, making 2 5′ pieces with a single threaded end each. So $10 per 5′ pipe piece combined with $12 for each set of these, that’s about $22 per 5′ clamp total.
This is the lowest price in over a year per the site of camels. It beats HomeDepot’s current price by nearly $3. I have an upcoming project that is going to need some very long clamps, and happened across this after seeing the posted.
If you don’t need the extra strength or choice in lengths these offer, the Rockler clamps or some HF bar clamps might be great, but this seems like a pretty strong deal for some solid pipe clamps. The Jorgensen pony clamps are probably the next step up in quality based on some reviews, but this is really cheap for putting together a set of still really well reviewed pipe clamps.
