These just came out, in house brand Onn by Walmart. I was there today and found all three models in stock. Just a heads up if you need a Android 9 Pie OS and full Google Play store. I’m testing the bigger model and so far so good. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Onn-10…/258891221
It’s not going to be a e-reeder with this screen but it’s plenty sharp and bright for pushing media. I got tired of waiting for DTVNow to get on my Fire HD10. It runs smooth and fast enough for my tastes. Audio is on par with FH10, but louder. Thicker than the HD10 and shorter battery life, 5hrs or so. Native Google Home and chromecast are very handy to have. I always dock it anyway so battery life isn’t a big deal.
Android tablet features a 1280 x 800 IPS pixel display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, Android 9 software, a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. It supports 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. quick look https://www.zdnet.com/article/wal…d-tablets/
Maybe they will go on sale soon but I will probably keep it, only a 15 day return window. I wasn’t paying attention and got the one with keyboard for $99 by mistake.
