50% off Amazon Echo Code from Ring Email YMMV

I got an email from Ring advertising their new features, within the email is a code for 50% off an Echo (2nd Gen) making it $50. The email is titled "New Ring Alarm Features, Integrations and More". It doesn’t say if there is an expiration date or not, so if you can, I would hold out until the price drops on the Echo. This will likely happen on Prime day which should be happening in a couple months.
Enter your code at the checkout page on Amazon, unfortunately it only works with the single Echo and none of the packages.
