The futuristic world had some potential to be great but overall very dissapointing story. The main protagonist (Zoey) was very annoying and naive throughout entire story. Jokes ranged from mildly funny to not funny at all. Very anti climactic ending as well. Will Blackwater and Molech were the only semi-interesting characters in my opinion.

I love the author's other works so as soon as this dropped I picked it up. For the first 90 or so pages I HATED the main protagonist and considered dropping the book because of her. But after a bit, things picked up and I began liking her more and more. Even though this book is the epitome of gratuitous ridiculousness, it never feels too forced and the book is not too long were everything begins to feel hackneyed. Would definitely recommend.

Futuristic Violence and blah blah blah is a fun book! it has a great fast-paced start, and is filled with ridculous scenarious, and the author has a great way of telling that story. It gets a bit long, and some Things seems rather redundant, but the end is on-going with fun and excitement. Well worth the read if you're looking for a fun adventure, in a futuristic, and mad, city.
