Due to the price drop to $80, 50% off, this is a repost of gunner249′s post of 7/14 in Hot Deals:
This in turn was a repost of RTB001′s post of 6/21 in Hot Deals:
Gunner249 posted the price drop from retail of $159 to $112.- It has now dropped to $80. Reading the Home Depot reviews for this item, a few have complained that the clutch slips at full speed or the chuck releases. Since if purchased at HD, this is LSA eligible (mark downs have not affected LSA in the past) I feel that Ridgid will honor future repairs (the drill will likely be replaced with a refurb.) I’ll test mine tomorrow.
Since the store inventory has been removed from the HD web page for the Hammer Drill, you will need the SKU – 1003899453C and ask Customer Service to check the Point of Sale terminal (NOT the web page) for inventory and location.

Thanks to andrew.j.ives & FaithfulName940 for alerting me to the price drop.
For those in the north NJ area, there are 11 remaining at the Passaic NJ store. (They were in an overhead bin, still boxed in the carton.)
FWIW, the stores are selling this item instead:

My vote is the newer model with the possible clutch issue – more torque (1300 in lbs vs 700 in lbs) and the newer 3 AH OCTANE battery (vs 2 – 2 AH batteries – non-OCTANE)
