Looks like a pretty solid deal, especially if you stack cash back offers from your favorite site.
I bought this about a month ago from Macy’s; it looks like a model made specifically for Macy’s because there are some extra tools that I don’t see on Dyson’s site, where it’s sold out, or any other site like BBB.
It has an adapter so that legacy Dyson device accessories are compatible. There is a carpet headpiece, shown in picture, as well as a hard wood floor attachment which is why I strictly use, that is very good. It’s the articulating head piece and does a bang up job.
There’s also a mattress and stairs tool as well as a brush and long piece for getting in to nooks and crannies.
Works amazing for our dog’s hair and there is an attachment available that let’s you groom your dog with the vacuum and suck it up into the vacuum immediately. This tool is not included but it is possible to do this with this vacuum.
Deal ends today but this is a fantastic price for a solid canister vacuum. We own a V8 for the home and a V7 for the office and this canister has pretty much replaced the home V8 as it does a much better job and is only slightly more inconvenient compared to a cordless vacuum. If it topples over, it self rights, so it can just roll over the wire so you’re not skipping the wire like a rope over and under the canister.

Also, looks like a few other Dyson vacuums are priced competitively with other stores, like the V8 Animal for $299.
