Sam’s Club – $130 off set of 4 Michelin Tires Oct. 4-6th – Snow/Winter Tires (Membership req.)

The probable and next Michelin promo for Sam’s would be November and probably late for some drivers to get their snow/winters on. So while this deal is not super slick based solely on price, it might be more so due to timing for snow/winter tires.
Michelin X-Ice function nearly as well as Blizzaks in poor conditions (Blizzaks being a severe winter weather tire), but they wear better. For cost comparison, Tirerack runs a set of 205/50R16 X-Ice at $577 (7% sales tax and fees inc.) without installation costs. Sam’s is $544.51 with installation. Both include road hazard.
For the uninitiated, you do not pay upfront for tires at Sam’s Club. Go to their website , find your tires, order them and have them shipped to your local store during the promo period – no payment due. You get an e-mail when the tires arrive at the store. Call or go to the store & get your vehicle scheduled for install after that point. Merely mention the promotion at time of payment.
Beware that some Sam’s staff seem to misstate policy – you qualify if you purchase during the promo period OR place an online order during the same time. If you’re paranoid, or have had trouble with your local store employees, you can go to the store and pay during the promo period but after you placed the online order.
Sam’s pro-rates the discount to a per-tire amount. Therefore, $130 off a set of 4 shows as " $32.5 off with Instant Savings" on checkout.
