About this game

Whispers of a Machine is a Sci-Fi Nordic Noir that tells the story of Vera, a cybernetically augmented special agent tasked with investigating a string of murders. These brutal killings obscure a sinister truth, as Vera soon finds ties to a group of fanatics committed to creating an AI superintelligence — a pursuit outlawed for nearly a century.

Complicating things, a great loss from Vera's past comes back to haunt her, making her question her own sanity and everything she stands for.

As an agent of the Central Bureau, Vera is equipped with an advanced nano-substance called Blue. This rare and sought-after technology allows her to develop superhuman abilities adapted to her psychological mindset.

Choose your playstyle and utilize these augmentations to investigate, gather information, and solve puzzles with multiple solutions.

Will Vera’s unique blend of skills and intuition be enough to solve the case, or will she discover that things are more ambiguous than they seemed? In this emotionally gripping story with existential twists and multiple endings, Vera's actions will have monumental consequences not only for herself, but for all of humanity...

An excellent game if you like challenging adventure style games. It's definitely worth the money. It's a good mix of a compelling story, mystery and some puzzle thrown in. Not only that but this game was written to be solved using 3 distinct paths which adds a lot of replayability. It reminds me of the king's quest, monkey island, and Sierra PC games of my youth. Expect this games takes a serious tone which is appropriate for the theme. I will definitely look for more from this developer.

I finished the game. Unfortunately the game was a bit tedious and left me hanging as to what i had to do. Had to get tips online. The controls to locations overlap and i often to the first instead. Canteen instead of the side section. I kept clicking everywhere when I started going on this game and never knew it was there nothing happened except canteen. maybe you could change the font it was still difficult to read a bit on the background. Make the tutorial more understandable.

Sorry that the tutorial was confusing! Was there any specific part of it that you think we could improve? The tutorial does describe all of the controls and mechanics in detail (like press and hold) so it would be great if we could figure out where we went wrong! Also, we'd love to hear about what aspect of the controls bothers you on mobile?

This game is excellent, I really enjoyed the story, the very unique take on a post-apocalyptic world, and the puzzles themselves were challenging enough but not absolutely convoluted like puzzles in some point and click adventures often are. The art is solid and the game dialogue is fully voiced which was a very pleasant surprise. I sincerely couldn't put this game down. I can't wait to replay it and take a different personality path. Great job, devs! Can't wait for a sequel!
