Woot has both the ViewSonic PX747-4K or the PX727-4K projectors for $599 refurbished with a 90 day warranty, that is less then half price. They are 4-K using a pixel shift. The PX747 has been on Slickdeals several times but the PX727 that is more geared for home theater has not. They claim up to 15,000 hours of lamp life on Smart Eco mode and 4,000 hours on Full Lamp mode which seems to be pretty impressive to me. There is no 3D and the chip it uses is the one that cast the black box around the image that some people don’t prefer. But a 4K projector at $600 seems like a Slickdeal to me.
