Free Uber ride (up to $10) for most of NY on Thanksgiving Eve (11/27/19) – NJ & MA as well in some select areas

Online ride-hailing service Uber has partnered with the group Mothers Against Drunk Drivers to offer free or discounted rides to all New York state residents outside New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 27, the night before Thanksgiving.
[There are also similar programs in Long Island NY, as well as Metro NJ and MA]
Uber users can enter the promo code on the Uber app. (Go to the menu, tap payment and then Add Promo.)
The promo is good for up to $10 on a ride hailed between 9 p.m Nov. 27 and 3 a.m. Nov. 28.
