I have been using Ridgid cordless tools for over 6 years, and have had to use the Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) for the drill/driver, and one battery. I was happy to receive a new brushless drill for the old brushed drill I turned in! If you are an low to moderate user, I would not hesitate getting even the brushed tools; the LSA will protect you. I saw this at my local store (Selma, CA 93662) and picked it up for my son, who has a lifetime of fixin’ and building ahead of him. A check of the 10 closest stores around me shows half of them with stock.
